I have been going to this practice for 18 years and have recommended this practice to a lot of people.,ive never had a bad experience until today. I brought my 17yr old cat here today.Granted I knew she was ill but did not realise how ill. The vet Julia was very straight and to the point but by god was she rude! She told me snappy was very ill with a number of complaints and when i tried to figure out how this all happened so quickly i was met with this has been happening a while which it had not.And eye infection was neglect which I attended the practice for and was told there was nothing more could be done for it except bathe.Granted there was extra pus but this was only 2 days until I could get an appointment. I was made to feel like i did not take care for her. The young man who was with me and ive spoken to tonight..asked her what she meant neglect,that I had taken great care of her.He said i was upset and did not hear the word neglect thats why he pointed it out She has a ragged coat but I thought it was old age and was never mentioned at previous visits! I asked what was best for my cat and she said uthnesia very matters of factly. Everything was matter of fact no empathy at all for the situation that was happening and all very rushed. As she said they had appointment after appointment! Which i can understand but im also paying for a service and in a time of loosing your pet/best friend was not appropriate.Never will I let any pet go to her again i will continue to use this service as ive never encountered bad practice/ rudeness like this before The rest of the staff are very understanding and nice.

Since my orignal vet retired I was looking for a veteniary clinic that had good caring staff & did'nt cost a fortune as there are 5 dogs & 4 cats to be cared for & I am delighted to say St. Francis Animal Dispensary meets my needs. The staff & vets are so caring & give excellent service. I might add it took me about 2 years through trial & error to find this excellent vets

I brought my cat, Mysha, to St. Francis to be spayed and had a really positive experience. The staff were great with her and made sure she was comfortable from the start, they were very professional and kept me updated, which I really appreciated. Mysha was well looked after and has recovered quickly without any issues. It's clear the team there actually cares about the animals they see. I’ll definitely be using them again for her routine check-ups. Highly recommend.

Have gone here for the longest time... Most recently with our 2 kittens Indy & Luci.. they were spayed yesterday.. absolutely adore the staff and they really go above and beyond.. could not recommend them enough.. always grateful for this team 🐈‍⬛🖤🐈‍⬛

Went to this vet for years with my cat and they were always great. Moved to a different town and had to send his records over to a new vet. The staff here were so helpful and did it in a second!
